Hello im a senior in high school, i was wondering if anyone could guide me...what do i do? i want a carrer in web design but should i go to a Art Insititute and stud multimedia and web design or should i go to a regular college and study it there? i have no idea...i have done my research but could anyone help me on my way? thanks a lot... I go this email on the I 140 which was filed with PERM in 2006 and was approved but this I 140 was never used.
I used another 140 based on my regular Labor filed in 2004 and got my GC a
few months back.
Today I got this email regarding the abandoned 140. What does this mean?

I'd like to know can a dependent (not the prime applicant) on a pending 485 status, avail unemployment insurance, especially the extended benefits which are being given by Federal govt. to the states.
This is the latest from USCIS : Pls copy paste the entire link

it says, that unemployment compensation is not public charge.
Does it even apply to both standard unemployment insurance and the extended benefits.

Yes, even primary applicant can work on EAD & 1099. But in case RFE is issued for EVL the primary applicant should have permanent full time position.

How quickly can we change the job safely after receiving a GC?

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) is trying again to get the DREAM Act passed, re-introducing the measure on Wednesday to let some immigrant students in the U.S. illegally stay in the country. Durbin, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), and Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) and others will be on the bill.
Last December, after passing the House (then under Democratic control) the measure fell five votes short in the Senate and Durbin vowed to keep trying. The Durbin press conference comes a day after President Obama boosted the DREAM Act in an immigration speech in Texas, along the U.S./Mexico border where he called for various reforms.
When Durbin starts an issue, he stays with it. On Sept. 10, 2001, Durbin launched his fight to allow students of illegal immigrants to stay in the U.S. at a press conference in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. The DREAM Act became part of a larger national debate on the hot button, divisive immigration issue.
